So, this review is written in context of the Vertuo coffeemaker ONLY. It is true that the Vertuo “mug” size pod options make much weaker coffee than the previous Nespresso line. Which is a huge disappointment…but we’re stuck with it, so the main goal is finding good coffee options for the version that we have. And after a lot of trial and error, we found that the Starbucks blonde roast pods taste the best. I buy this one over and over. We do have a regular drip coffee maker, but in the instances where I just need a quick single cup, these brew up with great flavor and aroma, and the crema on top is quite nice. I’ll drink it black or with a tiny splash of vanilla syrup. Just wish they weren’t so expensive.

Not as good as nespresso pods. They are weaker and don't have a good flavor. Also doesn't give that excellent thick froth on top like the nespresso pods do. Better off buying the pods on their site. Nespresso gives you 10 pods. Starbucks only gives you 8 and they are more expensive. Yes, I convenient to pick them up at the store but not good enough for me.

The best coffee pod for lattes so far! The flavor is strong but light at the same time, which is perfect for lattes. It doesn't over power but it also isn't weak. Never have a problem with my machine either. Only thing is how pricey they are for how little you get.
