A: The color of the product is white. When the light switch is on it become an illuminated golden glowing globe projecting warm cozy celestial stars on all nearby surfaces. This is a beautiful item that may be meant for kids, but is very elegant too. I'm an adult who is not afraid of the dark but cannot resist the ambiance.

Have these night lights for all my kids rooms and my eldest is 10 and he still likes it. Gives off enough light for night time but not too bright and I think it’s a great light and a light that the kids won’t really outgrow. Have also given it as baby shower gifts too! The only con is that you don’t want it where it could get broken because it is pretty breakable.

I bought this lamp years ago and loved it -- my four year old broke it and I have been trying to replace it. Unfortunately, due to Target's inability to package and ship it correctly I am not going to be able to replace it. I have ordered it now 3 times. 1st time it was delivered to the wrong address and was completely broken. 2nd time was a replacement order that arrived but the wiring seems to be defective so it does not turn on - I was no longer eligible for a free replacement so I had to return it and re-order it. The shipping label link I received was broken so after much back and forth with customer service Target agreed to not require I mail it back. 3rd order I paid for again, and again arrived totally broken without any paper or plastic protection at all or a fragile label meaning there was no chance it would survive the trip. I have asked customer service to waive the requirement to mail it back to get a refund but they will not. So now to get a refund I have to mail broken pieces of ceramic and pay to print the label since we do not have a printer. All I want is a $20 lamp! I have never had such a poor experience with any online order. The last customer service rep suggested I bring the broken pieces to a store. The nearest store is a 40-minute drive from my home so that is not something I am willing to do. Beware! Only buy this if you are picking up in-store and make them plug it in to test that is works before you leave the store!

Poor packaging for a very fragile item; I ordered online with a store pick up. I’m glad I did. When I checked my order, the “globe” already was in 2 pieces. I was lucky the Target associate was happy to find a new one. So, if you order it, don’t have it delivered by mail.
