Stroke Tripp Trapp Newborn High Chair Accessory Set - Dark Gray

We used the newborn attachment daily until our babe was 5 months old! Perfect for having him join us for mealtimes and morning coffees. He especially liked the toy hook for books! It was also very easy to clean in the washing machine.

Our baby is only 4mo old and I don't know what we'd do without the newborn attachment! Living in a small apartment in the city, this has been invaluable for numerous things: - having her with us during breakfast and dinner - having a safe place for her when we're in the shower (the chair itself is lightweight so we move it right on into the bathroom with us) - a place to chill when she has to sit in on dad's work calls The newborn attachment and Tripp Trapp have truly made our lives so much easier and we have used it since day 1 to help us around the house.

It's easy to install yourself just follow the instruction, I hope my child would love it too when he's born! Excited to start using it soon.

Our girl is a little small to be buckled in snug at 2 weeks old and 7 lbs. we've used it a few times though and is nifty to get dinner in. The toy hanger is a little low for any that we have, they always are right on her face. Hope to use it more and more as she grows.

The great thing about this chair is that you're able to use this chair from birth, thanks to this newborn seat. We've had other infant seats but those were either too bulky for the kitchen or they sat on the floor which isn't great when you have a dog. With the TrippTrapp set we were able to bring the baby alongside the table. The great thing about this attachment is, having used just the seat before, we know we can transition our infant into the high chair when the time is right.

The style matches perfectly with our kitchen decor as well and I plan to get the toddler seat attachment and maybe even the tray as he grows! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Tripp Trapp Newborn Set as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Tripp Trapp newborn really worked well for my family. We own our own business and to be honest, the one time we can just be there as a family is dinner time. Most times at dinner the baby is in the bouncer on the floor next to the table and I felt like she was in some way an outcast(or at least to me it looked that way). With the Tripp Trapp Newborn Set, she is now right at the table and has now been engaging so much more. Even my two year old talks more about her at dinner where as before, he would ask “Where’s Baby? Where?”. The newborn seat was not hard at all to come off and transition to the chair itself and my 2 year old didn’t mind trying out the chair as well. He thought he was so cool getting to sit in his sister’s seat. I may have to buy another Tripp Trapp due to my 2 year old wanting to be like Sissy. Another way I used this chair was when I had to do my hair, put make-up on, make dinner, etc, I would put the baby in the chair to keep her close to me and out of the way of others trying to hustle and bustle in the home. She would just go all through the house with me in her chair, haha. This chair is great for families who want the whole family, including the babies, to eat together but also works well to have the babies at almost eye level with you while you do other tasks.

I wasn’t sure if I really needed a chair for my newborn as we have other bouncers on the ground but let me tell you, this chair was great! I loved that our little man was able to be at table height during meal times. Our toddler also loved having him higher to interact with him when he was awake during meals. Instead of having to look down, they are at eye level and makes it so easy to talk with them. Assembly was easy. It comes with a little toy mobile holder where you can attach your own baby toy. I like the idea of a chair that grows with a child. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because you have to purchase the “growing chair” parts separately. It is not all included with one. But like I stated I really did love this for my newborn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Stokke Tripp Trapp and newborn set from Stellar Product Testing Panel last week and am already obsessed. As an exclusive pumping mama I really wish I had this set-up from day one. It would have been a lot easier to pump and feed my baby simultaneously! And my neck and back would have thanked me. I was able to build the Tripp Trapp chair in less than 30 minutes while watching TV. It was so nice not to have to go to the garage and find the tools I needed or ask my husband for help. Next the install of the newborn seat took literal seconds. The chair tucks completely under our kitchen island and our little is now able to join family meals and watch me cook in the kitchen while playing with a toy hanging from the toy bar attachment. I don’t have to constantly turn around to see if she’s doing okay on her playmat. The incline is very easy to adjust as well! I can’t wait to purchase the baby set and tray because our solids journey is right around the corner. I just love that this high chair will last years to come. My boss told me her kids still fight over who gets to use it at meals and they are 3 and 4 years old.

I love, love the ability to have baby at the table with us. As babies my two older children always wanted to be at the dinner table while we were eating but always had to be at our feet in a bouncy chair. This is also a super great addition for a third child. With smaller children running around it is nice to have a higher place to put my newborn while preparing a meal and not have to worry about baby getting “smushed” by curious siblings. The design has several very clever simple aspects to keep parent life more simple. 1. It is really simple to set up the Tripp Trapp chair with the newborn seat. It took less than ten minutes to instal simple stabilizers and pop the seat right on. (Not to mention green/red dots to let you know if you did it right!) 2. It is very lightweight but feels sturdy. 3. There is a very quick and easy lever to pull to go from level to angled position so baby can be in the best position to interact with you. No need to problem solve and scratch your head just to readjust it. 4. Easy on/off cover to be washed. Simply stretches on and off with no hooks/straps/buttons. It is good to note that it is a very snug fit to the chair and probably not meant to be taken on and off regularly. More like leave it on until baby is ready to graduate. But why not since Tripp Trapp is going to fit them until they are full grown!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three month old was so happy the second that I put him into the newborn seat on the Tripp Trapp. He absolutely loved that he was finally up at the table with the whole family. It made dinner time easier and happier for all of us. The Tripp Trapp came packaged very well. The box was light and easy to lift. I put the chair together in about 15 minutes by myself. It took about 5 more minutes to attach the extenders and the newborn chair. The newborn chair itself pops on and off very easily and there are red/green indicators so that you know it is on correctly. I was also able to adjust the straps easily to fit my baby. This product was easy to assemble with the directions provided. I did not even need to run to the internet for a video on how to assemble like I normally do. I love the color and style of the chair and newborn set. It is very stylish and blends with the rest of my dining room even though it is for kids. My favorite part of this chair is that it can grow with my little guy. I do wish that tray and straps (for when he starts to eat solids) were not something you had to buy separately, but I do plan to transition to the high chair when he begins solids around 6 months. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great addition to the tripp trapp! Having a way to have our infant at the table is so nice. Even when working in the kitchen baby’s almost at counter height and easy to tend to/ multitask along side of. Plus it’s such a back saver to put our daughter in and out of with ease even if for a short time. We found it worked best when our two year old was also strapped in for mealtime. The seat is sturdy but I’d be nervous to have our toddler pulling at it/hanging on it. I think it would be great for stokke to include some toy for the mobile arm—currently we just hang random things/teethers from it. I actually already had a Tripp Trapp from my daughter, who is now almost 4 years old. So even as I received this one complementarily, I have paid in full for one previously. Which is to say, please trust I mean it when I say the Tripp Trapp is worth the price. While we already had a Tripp Trapp, this Stellar Panel is our first time with the newborn set, and it came at just the right moment. My son is 4 months old and cleared for light solids. Feeding a young baby is generally a mess--they're sitting on your lap, they're squirming, oatmeal is dripping down their chin and onto the floor. So I've loved that the newborn set makes this process easier. And an easier process with a baby is instantly a more joyous one, as you can focus on the fun part and not on the challenging part. The newborn seat is easy to pop on, is secure once it's on, appears comfy for baby, and looks and feels nice--bringing him right to the table with the rest of the family. From here, I absolutely *know* I will continue using the Tripp Trapp with him. I know this because we still use our first Tripp Trapp with our daughter, these multiple years later. It has served us well, from those early days with the baby seat and food tray (thank goodness it's so easy to remove and clean that tray!), to the milestone-feeling days where you adjust the seat to reflect your growing child's new height. I love that, at almost 4 years old, she has a chair that's a good size for her. A traditional high chair would be too small physically, and would infantilize her. A dining room chair would be too big; a dining room chair with a booster on it wouldn't be sturdy and wouldn't fully feel like hers. So the Tripp Trapp is really purpose-built to grow with your kid, and it shows.

It was easy to set up and I did it by myself without issues. The newborn seat snaps on easily to the chair. We love that our baby can be right up at the table with us during meal time. We also turn the chair around while we are cooking and can engage the baby in the kitchen as he plays with the hanging toy we attached to the toy arm. The Stokke Tripp Trap chair is so nice and blends into our open concept space without looking like more baby gear. I am so excited that this chair will grow with us as our son gets bigger. We purchased the baby set in white to match the white chair and look forward to beginning baby led weaning when he can sit up in a few months. This chair is an investment, but the fact that we will use it from birth well into childhood and beyond makes it a worthwhile purchase that we will use with all of our children. I was so excited to hear that I’d be testing this product as I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair system. I am happy to report that it definitely lives up the hype for us! The thing we loved the most about this chair is that it can bring the baby up to table height from birth which was a total game changer for us during meals. I wish I had owned this sooner as we are almost ready to change out of the newborn seat to the baby seat. My daughter loves being able to see us during meals and it’s so nice not having her down low in a bouncer or swing. I was able to assemble this easily by myself, though it wasn’t super clear that I had to wait to screw everything in completely until I slid both boards in. If you do screw them all the way in before that, it will be too tight to slide the boards in. Once I realized that it worked great. I love that the newborn seat has a safety indicator letting you know it’s attached correctly - I was a little hesitant at first about how well it would support her but it is VERY stable. The detachable toy hanger also came in handy for when we weren’t feeding her and she needed something to play with while we were eating. We just started our daughter on solids so it has been really nice being able to feed her at table height even though she can’t totally sit up on her own yet. When she is ready we will DEFINITELY be transitioning to the high chair baby seat! We can’t wait! Overall we are very happy with this product. It’s lightweight and very easy to install by squeezing the tabs on either side and sliding it onto the top rung of the chair until it clicks. Green shows through when it’s securely on. The 5-point harness is fairly easy to adjust and fasten, and seems secure and safe. My baby is 5 months, and starting to sit up on her own, but she still liked sitting in the newborn attachment. It seems very cozy! She loved the toy bar, even when there’s no toy attached. She’s starting to grab at anything within reach, so she had a lot of fun with it. The ventilated bottom is so smart. I love how my baby can get some airflow through the seat, especially now that it’s so hot outside. We have used the chair and attachment in our living room to bring baby up to eye level since she’s usually on the floor. I like to give her some different perspectives. We have also brought it up to the table so she can join us for meals, especially now that she is becoming very interested in food. I ordered the baby set so she can continue using the Tripp Trapp when she starts solids. Even though my baby has just about outgrown this attachment, it’s something I’ll definitely be holding on to for any future children. There are really no downsides as far as I can tell. If you are getting the Tripp Trapp or have one already, I think the newborn attachment is a really nice way to get an extra six months or so of use out of it, and it’s much nicer than our bouncer or our other high chair (that can also accommodate a newborn). Our daughter loves being at the table or next to my work from home desk and I love that she’s at arms reach so that we can interact with her. Stokke is known for their design and the newborn attachment is comfy and intuitive! It has a toy bar that can be used to attach a toy for baby to play with. It also has an adjustable recline so smaller babies can enjoy sitting more flat while older babies can enjoy the slight tilt so they can see around them. The newborn attachment could not be easier to install. Big brother was a little jealous when the high chair arrived and he is thrilled that it’s a chair for him too! The newborn seat attaches and removes easily -and very securely- so I can easily transition between a regular seat and the newborn seat. We loved that our baby was able to sit with us at meal times from the day we brought her home. As a family of 6 with young children we love having the baby at the table with us. I also love that the seat will grow with our baby. The newborn seat is completely washable and moves easily. We have transitioned from a flat position when she was a tiny baby to an inclined position as she has grown so she can be more of a part of our meal experiences. The newborn seat is very easy to attach and move to the desired position. The hook on the newborn set is also a wonderful feature to add a small toy for entertainment for her. We plan to purchase the additional pieces for the highchair to transition her as she grows. We research our products before we use or purchase them looking for safety, ease of use and most importantly functionality and ability to grow with the child. We are not ones to prefer products that only last a short time. Most of the baby products we purchase have multiple stages to grow with our babies and this product absolutely fits into our purchasing style. The seat itself is a very nice design, it is esthetically pleasing, easy to move and fits in well with our décor. The base of the seat is also easy to wipe clean from messes. Our older children have all tried out the seat in it's many different positions as well. Overall this is an amazing highchair and we love that it grows with our baby. I’ve always put my baby in a bouncer or held her while eating dinner, but this newborn set provides the perfect solution to the dinner time struggle by bringing baby to the table with the family. My baby loves being able to watch the family eat and loves playing with the toy on the toy bar (it’s the perfect position for her to use either her hands or feet to play). The newborn set is easy to attach and remove from the chair and seems very comfortable. The straps are easy to adjust and well cushioned. My favorite feature is the buckle closure. It’s a smooth close and open so I don’t worry about pinching myself or baby on it. I love that this chair has really found a way to work for every stage of life. We’re excited to soon convert it to a high chair!
