The core of this diaper is made with our proprietary SAP Matrix (super absorbent polymers (sodium acrylate, silicon dioxide, polyacrylic acid, water)) and FSC Certified Total Chlorine Free wood pulp (cellulose, hemicellulose). The topsheet, backsheet, leakguard, and films are made with performance-driven nonwoven fabrics (polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polythene, titanium dioxide, nylon and polyester, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate). Inks (may contain D&C Black No. 2, Pigment Blue 1, Reactive Red 2, Pigment Yellow 14, Pigment Green 18, Direct Red 75, titanium dioxide) are used for printed designs on the exterior of the diaper. Elastics (polypropylene, segmented polyurethane-urea, titanium dioxide) and adhesives (hydrocarbon resin, styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymer, mineral oil, petroleum resin, rosin ester) are used to hold it all together - and we mean all.

    Freestyle Diapers Worked Well for My Baby’s Sensitive Skin

    We initially used Coterie diapers, and they were excellent for our baby. We loved their softness, absorbency, and overall quality, especially for our baby’s sensitive, eczema-prone skin. After our baby turned 18 months old, we wanted to reduce diaper costs without sacrificing quality. That led us to Freestyle. Although Freestyle was more affordable than Coterie, it still felt like a premium diaper and worked well for our baby. Freestyle is also TCF, OEKO-TEX, and EWG certified, which gave us additional confidence when choosing it for our baby’s sensitive skin. After a disappointing experience with another brand, we switched back to Freestyle. Our baby had developed a severe rash across the lower back while wearing Kudos Size 4, so we stopped using them and returned to Freestyle. The rash cleared within two days with hydrocortisone 2.5% once daily and Desitin Maximum Strength. I cannot say with certainty what caused the rash or what specifically led to the improvement, but Freestyle was the diaper we felt comfortable returning to because it had worked well for us before. Freestyle feels soft, fits comfortably, and has been gentle on our baby’s skin. We have occasionally experienced leaks, and the fit can be slightly baggy, but those issues have been minor compared with the skin reaction we experienced with another brand. Most importantly, Freestyle has not caused the same irritation for our baby. Every baby’s skin is different, especially when eczema or sensitivities are involved, so no diaper will work perfectly for everyone. Based on our experience, Freestyle has been comfortable, reliable, and high quality while costing less than Coterie. For parents of babies with sensitive skin, I recommend introducing any new diaper gradually and monitoring the skin closely. For our family, Freestyle offers the comfort and affordability we wanted while remaining gentle enough for our baby’s sensitive skin. I would purchase it again.
