Q: Why is the sizing on Target's site different from Kudos' direct site, is it a different diaper?
A: I believe it's because this is their "enhanced" diaper that they just announced a few days ago -- so these ones should accommodate larger sizing.

Based off of feedback from our customers, these diapers are slightly longer and wider than our traditional Kudos diapers, which is why you see the size discrepancy. They still feature the same 100% cotton-lining, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, TCF-free pulp, and DoubleDry protection that our customers love and expect from us! All Kudos diapers also feature our patent-pending DoubleDry absorbency tech, with 2x the absorbency layers compared to traditional diapers.

Q: Just bought my first box of kudos diapers, and noticed that there are little black specs inside of the diaper where it touches the skin not really sure if that is normal with it being roll cotton or if it has something wrong with them
A: Hi Kelsye! That’s just our cotton showing off how natural it is. Most cotton has these dark particles but it is typically bleached so you can’t see those specs. It’s perfectly safe for babies – in fact when you don’t see the little black specs on products that are made from cotton, that means it has undergone harsher processing.

Q: I’m curious about the biodegradable aspect of your diapers. Could you share what additive you use to enhance biodegradation and what testing you’ve conducted to support your claims?
A: Thank you so much for your question. We are on a mission to get as much plastic out of the disposable diaper as possible, and opt for plant-based ingredients — like our 100% cotton liner — instead of plastic whenever we can. That being said, no disposable diaper is fully biodegradable. As noted on our website, we do use a biodegradability enhancer on our outer cover to help speed up the breakdown of that outer cover when a diaper is disposed of. The biodegradability enhancer uses an enzyme mediated biodegradation process that starts when the product comes into contact with microorganisms. Q: Kudos is hiding the full list of ingredients from parents on its labels and Target's website. If these so-called 100% cotton-lined diapers are not mostly plastic, why not be transparent?

Q: Has Kudos made changes after the negative feedback on the enhanced version at Target? I would like an update before I commit to trying them. The reviews were really bad for the new version.
A: Hi Mikey - In our transition to move all manufacturing to the U.S., we did experience isolated issues with the tabs and adhesives in a small number of our first batch of diapers.
