Q: Is the scent floral? Fruity? Citrus?
A: Hi Beth, It is a fresh, clean scent.
submitted byEG Product Expert - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Smells like sparkling fruit as the back of the bottle says with a slight scent of floral
submitted byJustarandom - 1 year agoA: It is an aquatic fruity floral! The bottle description says, "...sparkling fruits and light florals", but I think it's more accurate to describe it as primarily aquatic. It has a oceanic element.

Q: Will this help strip dye from hair?
A: Hi Kate! The product is a clarifying shampoo which could possibly remove hair dye since it’s formulated to remove build-up, excess oil and residue. We don't recommend using it on color treated hair. -Suave Team
submitted byEG Product Expert - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Yes, you need to leave this in about 10-20 mins, I recommend you use the hottest water you can tolerate and that even makes colors come out faster. You might need to do this a few times to get the results you want. But yes this will gradually strip hair dye. I'm using this to strip an ugly shade of red that made my hair a disaster so I can put a different shade of red over it. Keep in mind only use this every two or three days with a deep conditioner. Using this every single day will be extremely drying

Q: Does this help remove chlorine from hair after using the pool?
A: Yes, Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo can be used to remove chlorine from hair after swimming. It's designed to gently remove residue and buildup, including chlorine, without stripping moisture. For best results, use it with a moisturizing conditioner, like Suave Daily Clarifying Conditioner, to replenish moisture lost due to chlorine. It's recommended to rinse hair with fresh water immediately after swimming and then shampoo with a clarifying shampoo to prevent further damage from chlorine oxidation.

Q: Will this shampoo help with alittle dandruff and itchy scalp? My husband can not use any other shampoo as he is currently using Suave Ocean Breeze. His skin is very sensitive.
A: Hi Ally! Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo is designed to deeply cleanse hair and remove build-up, but it is not specifically formulated to treat dandruff. While it can help with excess oil and build-up, which may contribute to dandruff for some, it's not a substitute for an anti-dandruff shampoo with active ingredients like pyrithione zinc, selenium sulfide, or ketoconazole.
