Sunnydaze Indoor Home Office Tabletop Modern Orb Smooth Glazed Ceramic Water Fountain Feature - 7" - Dark Brown

I'm kind of surprised to see the positive reviews on this fountain. Maybe mine's defective? My daughter bought me this pretty tabletop fountain for my birthday and I just got around to setting it up, following the instructions exactly, putting in a good amount of my own rocks and glass ornaments to augment what I received (which wasn't enough to fill even half the bowl), and added in almost 4 cups of water (vs the suggested 3.5) to make sure the pump was submerged. There is absolutely no water sound produced (not sure how other reviewers were able to hear the water "splashing over the rocks" LOL Nope.) and only two trickles of water that end up coming out of the top and sliding down to the bowl so quietly that you wouldn't even know the fountain was working except by looking at it. And even then ... it's literally a trickle. Possible the pump I received is defective? Doesn't look big enough to be effective, to be honest. Tiny fan, and not adjustable at all. Is there someone at the company I can talk to about replacing the pump, or even the whole fountain for one that's at least a little more robust?

Overall I really like this little fountain. It’s ceramic with clean lines, it’s not fussy. Nice size for a bookcase. I wish it made more water sounds. It’s more visual than anything you can hardly hear the water bubbling, and there is not a lot of noise at our place with just hubby and myself. I don’t even have tv or music on during the day. The other thing I want to let everyone know, just a heads up…the water evaporates like crazy out of it. I need to refill the reservoir everyday. The water level will drop from 1/2” to an inch everyday. And our temps in house have been mid 60’s to 70. So it’s not the heat making it evaporate. It must be the heat from little pump making it evaporate. I always unplug it at night. I certainly wouldn’t leave for the weekend and leave plugged in as the water would dissipate and you’ll have a burned up pump. Like I said overall it’s nice.

I love it except for the fact that the pump is louder than the sound of the water. I’m going to see if I can find a quieter pump.

It needs quite a bit of water to get going but once it does, it is so soothing and pleasant to watch! I really enjoy this fountain and it very pretty also

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t say enough good things about this fountain! It’s beautiful. The fountain is made of ceramic that has stunning coloring. The rocks that come with are so nice too! The setup was super easy! It’s so relaxing to listen to the sound of the water going over the orb, into the rocks. I also find it relaxing to watch the water flow, it’s meditative. We have this on quite a bit. My husband wants it for his office, but I’m not ready to give it up just yet!:). We have it in the living room and it fits right in with our boho modern decor. I would say it could fit into any style of decor.
