Q: Does this version have a lot of mini games like the GameCube version had? There was bowling, a boxing one, and a flying one where you collected bananas.

Great job SEGA!

A very fun game, both for singleplayer and multiplayer experiences. In many aspects you can tell that there was more effort put into this game compared to the previous title, Banana Mania. My friends and I had a great time rolling through the campaign levels together, celebrating every clutch victory. The only negative I can say about this game is that the framerate takes a massive cut (down to ~30 FPS) anytime you play a multiplayer mode. It’s not the biggest dealbreaker, but if you hop between the singleplayer and multiplayer modes the difference is jarring. Still not enough for me to not recommend this game, however, especially for any existing Monkey Ball fans.

What I wished Monkey Ball multiplayer was when I was a child!

Co-op multiplayer where you work together or more realistically knock each other off the stage cause you can, this game is one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I've had on Switch. I would highly recommend it, because although the physics aren't as precise as the originals on GameCube and are more akin to the Banana Mania rerelease, it is still a very fun time.
