Q: What type of batteries does it use
A: Some answers are saying 2 aa batteries and others say 4 aa. I guess make sure you have at least 4 aa!

Q: Can the cleaning solution bottle be refilled with any solution of choice? I have kids with allergies and medical conditions, so I make my own natural, low-ingredient cleaning solutions.

Q: what types of floors does this and its solution clean....hardwood, laminate wood veneer, tile, etc?
A: Absolutely, Eve. The WetJet Wood is safe to use on finished hardwood and bamboo, ceramic, laminate, linoleum and vinyl floors. It's safe for sealed granite and marble floors. Contact the manufacturer of the floor for any questions or test on a hidden area of the floor before use. Use only on sealed, finished flooring. Look for the arrow labeled “open,” then press and slide up to open the battery door. Once open, pull the panel out and insert the batteries. Q: I bought a swifter and the solution was not coming out. I returned it and got a new one and it is still not spraying.
A: Hey there Lan! Great question. We are really sorry to hear you had this experience with our Swiffer WetJet Floor Mop Starter Kit. If you cannot hear the motor in your Swiffer WetJet, first replace the batteries with two new AA alkaline batteries (non-rechargeable, unused, and not carbon zinc), inserted correctly, and ensure the battery door clicks closed. If you can hear the motor but the unit isn't working properly, check if the product is new and remove any cardboard packing from the solution bottle housing. Make sure all pole pieces are securely snapped together and that you are using the official solution, as other cleaners or refills can damage the unit. Confirm there is enough fluid in the bottle; if so, try removing and reinserting it until it clicks, aligning the arrow or narrow side with the pole. If no spray occurs, check for clogged nozzles by gently brushing them. The unit may also need priming by holding the spray button for several seconds and possibly squeezing the solution bottle while spraying.
