Q: Base on the International large checked size should be total in 62 inches, but this suitcase seemed a bit bigger. Do you think it is possiable to pass the international flight custom?

  • A: Thank you to this inquirer. I just purchased this largest size checked bag and the carry-on size, and will now likely return both as the exceed the total linear inches requirements for each on most carriers. This large size is 63” linear inches and required is 62” or oversized fees are applied (currently, $200 by Delta). The carry-on is 47” linear inches and required is 45”, so it would be sent to checked baggage and I’d risk it being sent to the wrong place as happened before.

Easy to Find Color and Style

I absolutely love this dusty pink color, which is not only gorgeous, but makes it really easy to locate when there are a lot of different suitcases on carousels. I like that you don’t need to have your own key and lock everything locks into the suitcase and there’s so much room inside for all of your items.

Beautiful sturdy hard side luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Swissgear Cascade II hard side large spinnner luggage. This is a really nice piece of luggage. It has spinner wheels that roll and spin perfectly on any hard surface even when the bag is heavy and packed full with your belongings. The inside has 2 sides that are separated to help keep you organized and the 3 zipper pockets are great for would be loose items like jewelry, hair supplies, large brushes and heat styling tools. This luggage is not cheap but it is also made to last. You will be proud to travel with this. I also love there is a lock on the exterior zipper for keeping your items secure while traveling.

Cascade Hardside Large Checked Luggage

The luggage is super spacious inside and has a few pockets to help organize smaller items. The one side has a zippered pocket to keep it within that half of the luggage which I like for organization.

I like that the inside has many pockets, as well as two dividers that keep each side contained and prevent a giant mess of all your belongings. The luggage has an option the set a code for security as well.

Wow this suitcase is seriously so nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an absolutely beautiful suitcase. The suitcase comes with multiple compartments and locking mechanism that uses the zipper attachments. The suitcase is sleek and moves easily even after I loaded it with items for my Disney trip. I love this suitcase and can’s wait to get the other items in the set. This suitcase is expensive but worth it and it will be used for decades to come. The handle is easily adjustable and overall this such a nice suitcase to add to my travels.

Gorgeous, high quality, suitcase

The four wheels glide super smoothly, even when it’s packed pretty full, and I love that it rolls easily in any direction without tipping over. It makes navigating airports and tight spaces so much easier. The built-in lock is a really nice touch too. It feels secure and gives peace of mind, especially when checking bags or staying in hotels. I didn’t have to worry about buying an extra lock or dealing with anything complicated. Inside, the compartments are actually useful (not just there for looks). There’s enough separation to keep things organized clothes on one side, smaller items and toiletries on the other so I wasn’t digging around for everything. It kept my stuff in place even after a long trip.

This suitcase is so beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the Rose Gold color of this suitcase and I was also shocked by how large it is. I did not realize that it was so big, so be aware if you are looking for just a carry on. I love the detail on the wheels and the lock that is incorporated. It is almost too pretty to use! It did arrive with a black scuff on it (bummer), but I realize that will happen in travel, so it is what it is. This suitcase has such a large carry capacity and I can’t wait to schedule a trip so I can use it!

Hard sided large, checked luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the maple colored hard sided large 28 inch checked luggage by Swiss gear. This is very good quality and rolls. Amazing. There are four wheels and a telescopic handle. Lots of zippers for storage and plenty of room. Can hold 7 to 9 days worth of clothes, but I bet you you could get more in here .

Swiss gear cascade hardside luggage review

It has lots of storage pockets for different options. I choose the black color so anyone of my family can use the bag, but it is available in lovely maple and rose colors as well. I haven't traveled with it yet, but it seems like a very durable bag.

So pretty, I almost don’t want to use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this suitcase – the rose color is so pretty and honestly stands out in the best way compared to all the basic black luggage. It almost feels too nice to use because I don’t want it getting scratched up. The size is great for longer trips and it has so many features. I love the compression straps, the divider between the 2 halves and especially the wet compartment bag. The locks are a nice touch too. The wheels glide super smoothly and make it really easy to move around. It just feels like a really well thought out bag for the price – functional and oh so pretty.

The compartments are so cleverly designed, to keep me organized. I love all the zipper pockets. I love the snap closure side as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this checked luggage from Swiss gear first and foremost, comes in great unique color options. That might seem like an unnecessary feature, but is so helpful when you’re trying to pick your luggage off of the luggage escalator at the airport the wheels function nicely as I would expect for something at this price point unique features that I noticed include the zippers which a pretty good color and are large and shaped differently for the main zippers as opposed to the size extender zipper. The main zipper is also lock directly into the lock system so that it cannot be opened if the lock is set inside it has the basic layout however they did add a nice waterproof pocket as well as instead of just the standard straps to secure your clothing into the side that doesn’t have the zip over cover. It has a large larger panel that actually would serve to compress and or contain your clothing, which is so simple but very smart.

Great suitcase for travel!

I am excited to use this moving forward due to the large interior, safety lock and bumpers on the corners to prevent cracks. The inside is nice because it has pockets for organizing and keeping things separate. All of my items fit because of the ability for the suitcase to expand. Highly recommend this product for frequent flyers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for a reasonably priced high-quality suitcase, this is going to be a great one for you. We love the basic black color and how it is perfect for my husband for overnight travel, as well as vacation travel there’s plenty of space inside the suitcase and we love the additional pockets that are available. There is one side that zipper is all the way close which makes it perfect for storing clothes and the suitcase is also expandable on the outside with an additional zipper. There is TSA security locks on the outside, which you can’t go without overall I highly recommend the suitcase.

Love this luggage and how much it holds
