A: They are built to withstand weather, but we would recommend covering them if you can in order to prolong the look of the wood.

While these chairs look nice, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. We purchased 5 one month ago. 2 weeks in one already has a broken slat across the center of the seat. These are barely used so this is disappointing. The overall quality isn't great, especially for the cost- they shouldn't be disposable. Hoping the other four at least make it through the season. Worst part is, we have to take the chair apart and ship back it's parts broken to have it replaced. It's garbage...

The chair is terrific looking and very comfortable! I purchased two for my front patio. The delivery was very timely also.

The chair I received had a broken slat with split wood on the base section. I felt it could be glued, so I went ahead and tried to assemble the chair, only to find that a rail that allows the back section to connect to the base was completely detached, again with split wood and pulled screws. The chair could not be assembled in this condition. Since it was poorly packaged for shipping, I chose to receive a refund, having no confidence that a replacement would arrive in better condition. Customer service arranged the return, no questions asked, which I appreciate. However, the time it took me to unpack, try to assemble, then repack and return this item is lost. Otherwise, it would be a nice piece of furniture -- the finish is smooth, and the I like the design and color. The picture on the webpage is accurate. Unfortunately, I found this to be a poor-quality product from Asia and cannot recommend it.
