it’s a good clip. If it’s not working for you then it’s user error. You just have to find the right size and technique. I bought one and couldn’t get the hang of it and returned it last year. I tried it again and this time googled tutorials. It took me several tries. Once you get the hang of it, it’s fast, super stable and comfortable. I like that I can lay my head back on the couch or while driving. I can even have it in while in bed and comfortably fall asleep. It doesn’t leave weird crimps or marks in my hair. I was a big fan of French pins but as someone with curly wavy hair they pull out all the curl in my hair or distort the curl and make my ends lay weird. This flat clip is my new go to. I have 2 larges which are a bit big/heavy for my fine hair but still work. I probably should have bought mediums. A bit over priced but everything is overpriced these days lol

I have always had a hard time finding a clip that holds all my hair because of how thick it is. This one truly does hold it and doesn't give me a headache at all. I also love how it doesn't bother me when i'm driving.

I finally found my new FAVORITE clip! I have medium-length, thick hair, and I've never found a hair clip that holds my hair as well as this one does. I take it with me everywhere now!! It's the perfect size, affordable, and goes with all my outfits. What more could you want!! I know - more TELETIES!

Does not hold long hair at all, waste of money

This is a terrible clip that doesn’t hold my hair. The hair falls out immediately. I thought the high price point meant that this would be a good quality. Don’t waste your money! So much for finding a flat and functional clip.

I have medium-thick hair that is long (reaches below the chest) and have been shocked that the large size of the Teleties flat clip holds ALL of it. This is the first “flat” clip I’ve found that can handle it. The grip is strong and it’s a bonus that the spring is hidden, so flyaways won’t get caught and I’m less likely to break it. Usually I use large/XL round clips like the Scunci, which can be particularly annoying when driving or leaning back on the couch. This flat clip is a game-changer! Worth the price. I will be back for more.

I wouldn’t recommend this, I have very fine hair but a lot of it and this doesn’t hold my hair at ALL. Super disappointing ;( especially considering the price point. I got the large one btw

If you have A LOT of fine, long hair, then this is a good clip. Definitely get it over the kitsch ones, in my experience owning two of those the teeth would break on me within the first few weeks. It doesn’t feel like the grip is all that good when you try it in store but once you actually put it on it holds. My hair, being so fine, usually slides out of clips but this one it doesn’t. And I have a lot of hair and it doesn’t feel like it’ll break. Def recommend!

LOVE this perfect clip for my fine hair! Stays in place with my fine hair, both pulled back from face or all hair up off my neck! Amazing! You really can lean back comfortably against a seat back (travel woe solved!)!Just ordered the smaller clips in all colors! Best hair clip I’ve EVER used. It stays put, it’s comfortable, and doesn’t make my hair look wonky (like others normally do to curly hair).

Doesn’t hold my hair at all

I have never had a clip fall out as easily as this one does. I do not have what is typically considered thick hair so I thought I would be fine for this but there is absolutely no grip to the hair whatsoever. I now save this clip just for tying my hair up to clean or go to bed and even that is questionable. Super disappointed in this product.

I love Teleties! I’ve been using them for YEARS. This has so much potential but does NOT hold back even 1/6th of my hair. I do love pulling essentially my bangs back in the car like I would with any other clip and not having to take it out. But it is not worth of a “thick” hair claim.

I love the concept of this design, but it is not for the girlies with thick hair. I have shoulder length thick hair and it won’t even hold up half of it. I’m sure it’s great for folks with thinner hair though.

I work in manufacturing, and my job requires me to be covered head to toe so I can’t wear common hair clips because they take up space in the hood. I’ve had buns or ponytails but the bun would also take up space or I could feel the hair on the back of my neck if gravity moved my ponytail a certain way. But now this this clip, it’s been a lot easier for me! This hair clip has been amazing for me so far. I have medium straight hair that goes past my shoulders by a few inches and so far it has worked well. I will admit I did take a few times to figure out the “perfect position” as this clip does not close like traditional ones to stay in place, but I will not dock any stars for that because some hair accessories you have to toy with! What works best for me is positioning your hair as if you’re putting in a traditional claw clip, and then going in at an angle so when you release, the clip will shift and the tension of the hair helps keep it in place. It might not be the most straight position, but it holds the hair and that’s good enough for me.

Not meant for thick hair girls

i like this hair clip! it obviously helps keep my hair up but also looks good as an accessory. the flat part allows me to lay down without discomfort, but i will say that it sometimes doesn’t cling onto my whole hair and the clip doesn’t close much which makes me believe my hair might not be as secure. it still holds it well but it might not be the best for thick hair

WAY too heavy and thick to actually hold your hair up. I have fine hair but a lot of it. I first bought the medium and felt like it could barely hold my hair. I then bought the large thinking that would help but same thing. I can’t imagine people with thick hair with more density would like this clip either. This hair clip falls down so easily and I have to spend so much time trying to get it to stay. Once it’s in, it is comfortable when driving and laying down but the amount of time and effort it takes to get it to worki is not worth it. The lay flat hair clip from Gimme Beauty is a zillion times better.
