If you have thick hair, do not waste your money on this. It laughed when I asked it to hold my low pony for me. I thought I would try again to do a half up, half down. Still a hard nope.

It didn’t work as a regular clip and is for ponytail only. However I have thick hair and I couldn’t clip it all the way through (see picture). If you have thin to medium hair it will be just fine. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would be more happy with this product if there was some flexibility in terms of how thick your hair has to be to use this product. Since it’s just a cylinder if your hair is not thick enough the clip just falls down and if your hair is too thick then the clip just stays open. Pretty, but not that practical.

The gold immediately elevates any hairstyle while also adding a bit of extra support with the claw clip. I have very thin hair and found that this clip works best when layered over a hair elastic, but thanks to the brilliant design you won’t have to worry about the elastic being visible underneath the claws.
