Favorite French Pin!
I have several different french pins from different brands. This has been my favorite...so much so that I went back and bought 2 more (a spare for my purse, and one to keep at my desk at work). I use this for french twists, messy buns, and half updo styles. It works great for all 3. For reference, I have long (waist length) hair that is medium thickness (type 1B)!

A little difficult for Thicker Hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item for free to test. Simple design, loved the pattern on it. Always takes a few try's before I get it to stay in and keep hair up. I had my hair in a low bun. It felt flimsy a when I'd behind twisting in my hair but I do have thick wavy hair so might be different and easier for someone with finer or straight hair. Overall does a decent job when trying to keep my hair up as I cook or doing simple tasks.

I will say it took me a minute to get the hang of it but now that I know what I'm doing I'm so obsessed. It does not give me a headache and is super secure in my thick hair. I would absolutely recommend.

Learning curve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the quality and look of the product and how unlike hair ties it doesn't leave a dent in your hair from long term use. I've never used one before and there's definitely a learning curve to get the insertion right so I doesn't fall out but once you get the hang of it, it's great and easy.

It works best for hair that's shoulder length or longer. It will but work for shorter hair. I love the tortoise design on it. It goes well with my brown hair. I have tried a formal updo with it and it looked great but I prefer it for more messy type buns
