My hair is very long and fine and this pin was just not able to fasten it, even after I looked up videos on how to do it. So I'd say that either this pin is not great for folks with fine hair, or folks who are new to styling their hair with a french pin. However I do think this pin looks very chic in pictures and it worked well on my sister, so I'm giving it three stars. I received this product for free in exchange for a fair review.

It is much more comfortable than a claw clip too since it curves to the head better than a clip. I would definitely buy more of these as they don't pull and snag my hair the same way that claw clips sometimes do

I have really thick curly hair and it stays perfectly throughout the day. I wear it to pilates because it isn't as damaging as scrunchies and you're able to lay your head flat vs. A claw clip.
