A: Yes it does. Acetylsalicylic Acid is aspirin. Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin.

It definitely decreases the amount of razor bumps and ingrown but it does sting. Put a little bit of water on a cotton ball and use the tend skin it helps with the stinging!

Waited to wait to review this until I’d been using a few months: it’s decreased my ingrown hairs post waxing by about 95% when I use it consistently. The few ingrowns I still get don’t get infected, don’t get pus, and are super easy to remove with tweezers. This stuff is liquid gold

Yall… I have tried fur oil, bha’s, antibacterial soaps, benzoyl peroxide and this stuff worked overtime after 3 uses! I am an athlete and get regular waxes, so I deal with TERRIBLE ingrowns that won’t go away. After 3 uses of this stuff the hard/ large bumps I had and discoloration is fading. I’m going to stick to it for life!

WORKS SUPER WELL! I normally get ingrown hairs/razor burn SO BAD after i shave or wax, but since using this product i dont! I am very impressed. Only downside is it smells strong and kind of stings like alcohol. I normally use witch hazel, but that unfortunately stopped working for me.

Tend Skin is an absolute game-changer for my husband, who is Black and has struggled with ingrown hairs for years. This product is the only one that effectively prevents ingrown hairs for him, making a noticeable difference in his skin's appearance and comfort. He's tried numerous solutions over the years, but nothing compares to the results he gets from Tend Skin. One of the few downsides is that Tend Skin can be a bit challenging to find in stores. However, we were thrilled to discover that Target carries it, ensuring we can always keep a bottle on hand. While it might not be the easiest product to find, the effort is well worth it. Tend Skin is a staple in our home, and my husband truly can't live without it. If you're dealing with ingrown hairs and haven't found a reliable solution, I highly recommend giving Tend Skin a try.

One of the only things that works to prevent folliculitis after hair removal from the root which I was very prone to. However it’s very pricy and I’ve found a affordable good dupe that does the same thing: shaving alum block.

I love this stuff!! It has a strong alcohol smell ( I think it’s the main ingredient) but it’s amazing. I wouldn’t put it on after a fresh shave because it will sting a little but after a few hours it’s good. If you use it make sure it’s on a regular basis for the best results. The only downside I would say is price :(
