Thames & Kosmos Plasma Ball

What a fun thing to experiment with! My son is a self proclaimed scientist and really thought this plasma ball was fun! He enjoyed testing it with touch and sound and tried out the experiments they list in the directions that come with. And that it works to music was really neat!

This thing is so cool! It felt nostalgic to me giving this to my kids and I had fun playing with it as well! Great value and the design is really near cause you can also hang it on the wall.

This is so cool! My 14 year old and I have been trying the different modes. There is one that activates the ball with sound and another that just leaves it on. The only assembly required was to install four AAA batteries. It's silent and would not take up a lot of space on a desk or workspace. There is an option to hang it on the wall as well. The one thing we did not try was to use it in a dark room. It's just kind of fascinating to watch and I'll admit - when I first touched it, I half-expected my hair to stand on end. Its totally safe; no zaps of electricity & no hair-raising. Just a cool thing to have around!

This is such a fun science toy that my kids love playing with to see how many of the kids electricical things they can get to touch their hands at the same time. This does take batteries, which I didn’t realize because it also plugs in, but they were easy to install and seem to last a bit. No noise, packaging kept the glass oetitedted, and it’s super fun.

I really like this The Thames & Kosmos Plasma Ball. This was easy to put together. You can charge this plasma ball or use batteries. You can hang this on the wall or set it on a table. It is really fun to watch the electricity work through it.
