Book Synopsis
It all starts in the capital: to be closer to his subjects, the Tsar of Russia, dressed in peasant clothes, strolls through the streets of St. Petersburg. Disaster strikes! The Tsar is captured by a group of conspirators wishing to use his uncanny "resemblance" to the Tsar (himself) for sinister ends. What fate awaits the true Tsar, now a simple peasant, in the hands of his enemies? And most importantly, what do they have in store for him next? A 146-page collection of three short stories that will see our protagonist resist a coup d'état, compete in feats of strength to decide the next Khan of the Caucasus, and run in his country's very first election. A parody about the misadventures of a fictional Tsar of Russia, based on Peter the Great and other Tsars and historical figures of the Russian Empire. Written by Tarek Ben Yakhlef, a Tunisian-French historian and street artist.About the Author
