About the Author
Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë were born in Yorkshire between 1816 and 1820. They wrote and shared stories from a young age, and in 1847, Charlotte's Jane Eyre and Emily's Wuthering Heights were both published. All three also worked as governesses and teachers, experiences that inspired Anne's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (1848) and Charlotte's Villette (1853). They died in their twenties and thirties, leaving their father the only surviving family member. Coralie Bickford-Smith (cover design) is an award-winning designer at Penguin Books (U.K.), where she has created several highly acclaimed series designs. She is also the author of The Fox and the Star, the 2015 Waterstones Book of the Year. She studied typography at Reading University and lives in London.Dimensions (Overall): 8.3 Inches (H) x 6.6 Inches (W) x 5.6 Inches (D)

To update those who may wonder if Wuthering Heights is still white and gray, it is now the updated blue and gray cover. The books came in pristine condition, so I am very pleased.

As the other reviewer mentioned, Wuthering Heights is white on gray. The books are sturdy & well made. The cover art on my copy of Villete started transferring onto my skin, so be mindful of that also! Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

Not the right photograph - 4 years ago, Verified purchaser
The website photograph and the actual set that arrived, are not the same edition. The website photograph is of the later edition (Wuthering Heights has a teal on gray cover) but the one received has Wuthering Heights' cover as white on gray which is the earlier edition. If you don't mind the white on gray, this is a good price, but the photograph is misleading and should be changed. I specifically wanted the teal on gray later edition, so will be returning.
