Book Synopsis

"Almost Famous step aside: the new golden gods of rock have arrived." --Katy Hays, New York Times bestselling author This USA TODAY bestseller is a powerful and transportive novel about a music executive desperately trying to bring a rock band back from the brink, perfect for fans of Daisy Jones & the Six and In Five Years. The best love stories are the ones you don't expect. When ambitious record executive Theo meets the Future Saints, they're bombing at a dive bar in their hometown. Since the death of their manager, the band has been in a downward spiral and Theo has been dispatched to coax a new--and successful--album out of them, or else cut them from the label. He's both entranced and challenged by Hannah, the group's lead singer. She's gone off script by debuting a new sound, replacing their signature California pop with gut-wrenching rock, and she won't listen to anyone's direction, least of all Theo's, as she and her sister, Ginny, undermine him at every turn. When this new music goes viral, striking an unexpected chord with fans, the bickering Saints get one last shot at the success they've been chasing, even as Hannah's increasingly destructive antics threaten the survival of the band--and her relationship with her sister. "A heart tugging love story woven into a journey of grief, denial, and the relationships we'll do anything to hold onto. The Future Saints is not to be missed" (Annabel Monaghan, New Times bestselling author).
