[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My finicky Poodle decided he no longer liked him Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Turkey Recipe food. After six years who can blame him? I tried toppers, but he turned up his snout and walked away. So I went back to Honest Kitchen and bought dry kibble and turkey pate with fingers (and toes) crossed. Well, I’m here to report it worked like a charm. Once again there’s a bowl licked clean in 60 seconds flat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs both love this food. My oldest would barely eat when we had her on purina pro plan, and now she scarfs down her food in seconds. The ingredients also make me feel like I am making the right choice for my dogs. Recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog loves the Honest Kitchen clusters. We alway mix in a bit of warm water or broth, and when you put your nose into the bowl and take a whiff, it actually smells like people food! Our only complaint is the large amount of dust left at the bottom of the bag (the reason for the 4 stars). I understand this is because the kibble is gently processed, and they tend to crumble apart. I think we’ll try and use up the powdered kibble by rehydrating it, so it isn’t wasted.

So far a win for our picky pup. The end of the last bag had all broken down. Mixing it into new bag of kibble so it doesn’t go to waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the convenience of a kibble with the bonus of healthy human grade ingredients. I switched to this from traditional kibble after my young dog was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I thought the ingredients might be less inflammatory than the highly processed stuff. She is doing great on it, I've been able to gradually reduce her prednisone down from 2 pills a day to 1/2 of a pill every 3 days! I pair it with the beef bone broth from THK, as well as fish oil pills and Cosequin.
Closest to “gently cooked” kibble i have seen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems truly “gently cooked”…not “hard” like a rock kibble. Soaks up water very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls absolutely love this nugget. I’ve been feeding THK for years starting way back when it was just dehydrated with my special needs dogs. My 2 girls now are very happy with anything THK even the cats try and steal it and vice versa. No soft poops or vomiting we’ve had with other brands. They love the crunch of the nuggets and the flavors of the pour overs they occasionally get as a treat. All in all 6 paws up in this house and 2 thumbs from the humans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been making meatballs with a side of veggies and half of a little container of Activia peach yogurt for my little 8-year-old female papillon's daily meals. She absolutely hates any kind of dog food, and I've tried them all. I first heard of Honest Kitchen in my Facebook Papillon group. I went to check out the website, and liked what I read. I ordered a 1 lb bag just to see if she would even try it. I even tried a nugget before I gave it to her, and it was pretty good!😄 She loved it! I ordered a 10 lb bag, and we'll see how long that lasts before I decide to subscribe. These little chicken and oat nuggets have a soft crunch to them which my girl enjoys. She still gets her homemade meals everyday, but now she gets a 1/4 cup in the evenings when the cat gets his meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, it doesn’t stink like other dog food. You can actually see carrots etc in the food. It’s dehydrated, so if you want to, you can add water if you have a puppy or older dog to moisten it and make it easier to eat. My dogs don’t have gas, and they poop regularly now. More energy too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our aging terrier mix refuses to eat kibble brands he used to enjoy. However, he's become an enthusiastic fan of Whole Grain Clusters. In fact, he begs for and gobbles every bowl--while I rest confidently in the quality, human-grade ingredients.

Making a choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog loves the Whole Grain Chicken Clusters at least once a day. She also loves the Beef and Salmon and both items are offered to her twice a day. The interesting thing is that when I offer the clusters first she will not always eat the clusters before having the beef and salmon first. Not sure why that is except she likes variety in her diet.
