The Lakeside Collection Portable Folding Blue Hammock for Travel and Outdoor Camping

The hammock frame seems like it is made well, but the fabric part is very uncomfortable and unstable. It’s those typical hammocks where you see people falling out of all the time. Hammocks usually are now made to cradle and hold you. This one is so stiff and flat that is makes getting on, getting off, and even laying on it very wobbly. I have two other hammocks that I love and that’s why I can compare this to others I have and tried. I do not recommend this product at all and I feel I wasted money and the extra shipping to get it. I even tried to get another fabric part to use, but a standard hammock won’t fit this. They are too long.

Easy put together! I did in my Office! Bigger than I thought, I can even get into it being 242 lbs.! Made well! and not to heavy to carry!

I believe that they are either being packed differently or the delivery company is causing damage to the carrying bag for the hammock. You can see where the bolt on the hammock is making a hole or a mark on the bag. This has happened twice. I think someone should check this out:)

I bought this hammock because I needed a second one for me. I had bought a similar one several years ago. The one I had is red and it has side straps that holds the hammock in place while sitting on it. The blue one doesn't have the straps and I need to be very careful when I sit down and when i get up because it moves back and I'm afraid of falling. Also, the red one has a body of mesh, so it doesn't get hot while laying on it. And it come with a handy pocket on the side for papers, magazines, etc. In addition, the legs have bottom support for sturdiness. Other than that, it's a great addition to my backyard. It is easy to set up and take down. I like that it comes with it's own bag that I can use to put it away in the winter. I would have given it a 5 stars, if it wasn't for those few details that make the item cheaper compared to the original one.

A little too heavy to carry , but good for use at home or campground

I bought this last year during the holidays and got it for close to $50 on a sale. It was well worth it! It's a little heavy but it is super easy to put together and made with heavy duty material. It's awesome! I highly recommend.

Wish it didn't go up in price and then the extra $10.00 for shipping. I might have to stop getting it:(

I loved the idea of a portable hammock but I was disappointed in how heavy it is.

I was a bit nervous after ordering this that it might turn out to be cheaply made. But it seems really solid & well constructed. It is a bit heavy— wouldn’t want to have to carry it on a long hike. But for like car camping or a day at the beach, it’s great!

I bought this as a gift for a man. Hammock itself tips over when trying to get into it regardless of how you try. Recommend removing this item from catalog. Need information about return and credit this item.

It's heavy but neither of the grandchildren mind. They both wanted one. Should last a long time I hope. Seems well made and of strong materials.

It was easy to put together but it does not swing well at all. You pretty much need to leave one foot on the ground to constantly move the hammock.

My husband loves to lounge in the hammock it is very safe for him to get in and out of it.

I purchased this hammock for my 22 year old nephew for his birthday. He was beyond happy with it! He sets it up in his family’s outdoor gazebo and uses it to relax and nap after work. What he likes the most is that he can fold it up and put it in its canvas carrying case to take with him when he goes to outings with family or friends! It is very sturdy!

The hammock is okay but the one I got a few years ago was made better and had more features. What happened? Should have left it as it was.

I received my order last week and haven't opened the box yet. It is heavy and I couldn't lift it to get it in the door. I may return it unopened as it's heavy. I don't want to open it, set it up and be stuck with it outside, and not be able to fold it up.

This is exactly as advertised and seems good quality. It would be nice if it had a higher weight limit though.

Lakeside is the only one I order from. They are good.

I took the package out of the box. Followed directions on setting it up. It similar to the folding lawn chairs. Sat on it to lay down and the rivets on the center legs popped out. I didn’t fall on the floor or anything but the legs will not fold up now without difficulty as they are longer attached to each other. No smooth folding and storage back in the bag. The weight limit on the product is 250lbs. I weight 180lbs so that shouldn’t have been a problem. It’s just poorly made, at least the one I received was.

Not a swaying hammock,I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend and truthfully am disappointed.
