What I enjoy the most about his novels is how we see two perspectives, one that never fails to raise that sense of dread and the other a mystery unraveling before our eyes. The Man Made of Smoke delivers that and more. While we have suspense, twists and a mystery in our hands, this book also explores that father and son relationship with its main characters. If you crave stories that weave a sense of dread, psychological depth and masterful plotting, this one won't just satisfy—it'll haunt you long after the final page. It certainly hasn't released its grip on me. I received a complimentary e-ARC for this book and all opinions are my own.
