Difficult to read

The ink used in printing is too thick and is making crossword numbers extremely difficult to read. I think it might just be a printing issue because I’ve had many other crossword books and have not had this problem before. Not sure I can return because I’ve done 7 pages but after getting bad headaches I’m going to stop trying to squint at the wording.
