While padding on the back is good when you’re carrying heavy items, it can get hot on warm days. I like the strap on this bag better than the rope straps on other brands. The butterfly print is nice, but definitely for casual weekends and not an everyday bag. I have many bags from The Sak and I generally prefer the leather and crochet products.

I am giving it a 3 because I love the sling purse yet, the black is awful and I cannot recommend it at all. The polyester type canvas they used on the back attracts any and every piece of lint or fuzz around and it always looks dirty. I’m returning it unfortunately.

I like the side zipper with area to hold credit cards and carry as backpack without worry someone can reach in. Room for water bottle, wallet, glasses, and snack.
