Enjoyed time that i spend with this book
Despite the bad review, I bought this book and found it really interesting. If you want to better and deeply understand the leader of Ukraine, President Zelensky, it would be very informative for you. Also, you'll get a lot of information about the first days of the war and the preparation for it.

Misleading Narrative
This book was incredibly frustrating to read. It was immediately obvious that Shuster had reused most of his earlier reporting, so the new content in the book was minimal and seemed to be mostly his own heavy-handed opinions. It was also clear that those previous articles had been dissected and reorganized to fit a different, more cynical narrative. Unfortunately, this made the story difficult to follow as it constantly and repetitively jumped back and forth in time. My biggest problem with this book is how the research, which could have been uniquely informative, was manipulated and misrepresented, presumably to create a more sensational novel. There are also some glaring factual errors, as well as some more minor details that – as someone who has been consuming a steady diet of Ukrainian content – I noticed had been taken completely out of context. Since this book is being marketed to English-speakers who may not have the same amount of background knowledge, it’s important for readers to be aware that there is often more to these stories.
