I loved catching up with them but my main focus was on Valerie and Brett's relationship, and I couldn't wait to see if a "friends to enemies to friends again" relationship would evolve into something more. There were relevant topics, such as dyslexia, eating disorders, and bullying, and I admired the strong faith elements that were woven into this engaging plot! If you want an emotional story with family, faith, friendship, and romance, grab a copy of Their Unlikely Protector. It has all of the feel-good vibes of a Hallmark movie!
