Q: I need to know how deep the spider or other bulb attaching thing is in the shade. My lampshade needs to be at least 8 inches above the bulb itself, so the spider has to be fairly deep into the shade.

Q: When I type in the item-number (074 08 0690) this is the lamp shade that comes up (I'm trying to match one I just boughT). The package on mine says the color is "off white" but the description here says "shell". Are these the same color?
