It allows unrestricted movement in the fingers and preserves maximum function of the hand. An excellent choice to treat common ailments of the hand such as: DeQuervain's Tendonitis, MCP joint sprains and strains, basal joint arthritis, and cumulative joint trauma. Reversible design can be used on either the left or right hand.

Bad design, poor quality
The thumb part doesn't go around the whole thumb but just sits on top of the finger and keeps moving and twisting. The whole thing is made of 90% Velcro, it is so hard to adjust it, I actually hurt my finger more by trying to put this thing on. Terrible!
