Q: Can this be used at night, as well as during the day?

A: i tried wearing a different brand at night. I don't recommend it because it was really hot and I felt like my hand and wrist had swollen.

Then close all straps and fasteners and hand wash with mild soap in warm (not hot) water. Rinse well and air dry. DO NOT machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean or use fabric softener or bleach on the brace. Q: Does this have the gel pad in the palm that the Futuro stabilizing wrist brace had? I see that the stabilizing wrist brace is no longer listed on 3M's website; I assume this is meant to replace it.

I have De Quervain's tenosynovitis (wrist/thumb injury) and use this during the day to keep my thumb in the right position. It’s comfortable and easy to put on/remove. I switch to a splint at night for more support. When I first needed to buy one of these, I checked all the drugstores in my area (big city), and Target was the only retailer that had any in stock, so points to availability as well.

This did the trick. Doesn't provide a ton of support, but the pressure and mild support it provides is sufficient. Very comfortable and easy to put on! I use it on my right hand and it's perfect.

This is clearly a brace for the left hand, as it does not fit your right hand, as well as the left. Doesn’t offer much support at all. Wish I had spent more money on a better brace.

Weak support and it's hard to adjust comfortably. Constantly re-wrapping this because any sort of movement causes the part that goes across the hand to shift. Hand gets clammy after wearing it for short periods regardless of activity levels.
