Q: Can this be used at night, as well as during the day?

A: i tried wearing a different brand at night. I don't recommend it because it was really hot and I felt like my hand and wrist had swollen.

A: Hello - Thank you for asking. Instructions for how to wear the wrist support are printed on the packaging. How to Wear: 1. Insert thumb into loop with smooth side of material against skin. Wrap support under bottom of wrist. For Left Hand Use: Wrap support over top of wrist. 2. Bring support under the wrist and back around the top of wrist. Secure fastener. 3. A: Hello - Thank you for asking. Yes, you can clean FUTURO™ Braces and Supports. First, if your support has hinges, clips or metal splints, remove them. Then close all straps and fasteners and hand wash with mild soap in warm (not hot) water. Rinse well and air dry. DO NOT machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean or use fabric softener or bleach on the brace. Q: Does this have the gel pad in the palm that the Futuro stabilizing wrist brace had? I see that the stabilizing wrist brace is no longer listed on 3M's website; I assume this is meant to replace it.

Fine for wrist, strangles thumb
Been using it for 2 weeks now. It is fine for wrist stabilization but not if you want something stiff. This is a comfort model, and it has more give than I was anticipating, and if you want it tight, it is very uncomfortable around the thumb.

Awful quality
The quality is awful. By the 3rd time I wore it it became super loose and fall apart. The Velcro doesn’t work well either and often times it will completely fall off when wearing it. I often have to readjustment every 5-10 minutes because it becomes so loose.

I have De Quervain's tenosynovitis (wrist/thumb injury) and use this during the day to keep my thumb in the right position. It’s comfortable and easy to put on/remove. I switch to a splint at night for more support. When I first needed to buy one of these, I checked all the drugstores in my area (big city), and Target was the only retailer that had any in stock, so points to availability as well.

This is clearly a brace for the left hand, as it does not fit your right hand, as well as the left. Doesn’t offer much support at all. Wish I had spent more money on a better brace.

NOT FOR RIGHT OR LEFT WRIST AS NOTED ON PACKAGE!! *This product doesn't fit securely on the right wrist, it gaps and doesn't provide the necessary support. *It's thumb hole is off center and one side is shaped wider than the other, so it only fits properly on the left wrist - NOT on the RIGHT Wrist.
