Like wearing a pair of sneakers but with the composite toe I don't have to worry about dropping a tool or something on my foot. I really like them and already bought another pair in a different color.

I've never tried Timberland for that specific need but have always enjoyed my other Timbs over the last 25 years. This purchase is a disappointment. While the reduced price was great (probably because this color didn't sell), they just are not very comfortable. Timberland didn't meet their normal standard here.
