[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dark chocolate has an incredibly smooth, creamy flavor—one of the best I’ve tried. My husband devoured it so quickly I barely got a taste! He immediately asked that we start buying this brand regularly. It’s a generous size, which is a bonus, and we loved keeping it in the freezer for a cool, satisfying treat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is reminiscent of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and attractive, kind of retro looking. The size is very generous. I'm not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, so I gave it to my boyfriend to try out for me, and he liked it. However, he said that he has had better dark chocolates, so it was not his favorite. The reason for this, he said, is because it has a somewhat almost gritty texture in his opinion that he was not a fan of.

Honestly, I probably would have never tried this chocolate bar if not for this opportunity I was given. First off, the packaging was really nice. It has an outside sleeve and inside, it is wrapped in aluminum foil to keep it nice and fresh. I enjoyed reading the “chocolate story” inside the sleeve to learn more about this brand. The chocolate flavor was nice and deep for a dark chocolate, but definitely not too bitter, as some dark chocolates tend to be. I personally felt, that this dark chocolate bar was better than the dark chocolate Hershey bar. It was quite thick/chunky. The one thing that I was not fond of, was that it was a bit difficult to break apart. You could not break it apart in even pieces to share with family or friends. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Now that I know that this is a quality chocolate, the next bar I purchase, will be the salted caramel. I cannot wait to try that. Stay tuned for my review on it. 😁🍫

This dark chocolate is very good, i’m impressed. I’ve seen this at the store and was wondering if it was going to be good and lemme tell you, it was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a substantial, chunky chocolate bar weighing over 6 oz.! I love the list of ingredients I can pronounce and that it’s made with fair trade cocoa and sugar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packing was of ok quality. The foil did tear easily when trying to rewrap it. The thickness and the break points of the bar was of a very unique pattern. The flavor was ok. It wasn't to sweet but didn't seem to have a strong chocolate flavor. While I enjoyed the product it wouldn't be my first choice.

Love how it is not too sweet nor too bitter but it has good balance between sweet and bitter. Texture is creamy and smooth. Sizing is generous jfor the price and packaging is simple yet looking attractive. Definitely buying it again to share with friends and family.

I tried overlooking the bloom that was on the bar and the fact that the foil wrapper was stuck in the chocolate. I tried breaking a piece that didn't have much bloom to review the taste. I'm a dark chocolate lover and don't like cheap mass produced chocolate. This chocolate was not creamy not did it have a smooth mouth feel. It wasn't overly sweet, which I like, but it wasn't rich and flavorful. Perhaps it was a bad bar, or it was damaged in shipping, but with what I was given I can't say I'm a fan of this chocolate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Chocolate was very rich with flavor. The logo was also printed on the chocolate which was nice. However, the pattern on the chocolate made it a little hard to break off pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have seen this chocolate everywhere and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!! First of all this chocolate bar is nice and thick. It tastes so great, I am already planning to make chocolate covered strawberries with it 😋 Not only is the chocolate delicious but the story behind the company is even better. They want to end the illegal labor (including child labor) on cocoa farms in West Africa. This is a company that I would encourage anyone to support.

The packaging is super cute and reminds me Willy Wonka. The chocolate is smooth and has a nice bitterness which is what I look for in dark chocolate. I love that the ingredients are sustainable/fair trade and that the company is trying to make a positive impact. The only issue is that the chocolate bar is very thick and hard to break into smaller pieces, but it makes it very easy to grate or use for baking. Overall, I would definitely recommend Tony’s Chocolonely and will be purchasing other varieties to try.
