I’m a fan of the original Top Gun movie, so I went ahead and purchased this without having seen it first. The first half of the movie is basically a rehash of the original. There may be new characters but they are doing and saying the same things as the original co-stars. The second half makes the movie a worthwhile watch. Exciting both story-wise and regarding its method of capturing the action itself. The shots feel truly unique and groundbreaking.

This movie was so amazing to watch in theaters. I couldnt wait to get it on disc until I got it on disc. I dont like to watch movies so loud I cant hear my own thoughts. Heres the problem. The music and sound effects are so high, when I turn the volume on my TV down to say a 12, I get perfect satisfaction. Then when the music stops and they start to talk, There is NO sound. I have to turn my volume up to 22ish. I have to change the volume up and down constantly throughout the whole movie. There are a few moments when the talking is equal to the music/effects as theyre happening at the same time. WHY ISNT THERE ANY BALANCE. Nothing in the settings fixes this. The only other option contants a voice description of whats going on. Very Very Very disappointed in this disc.

I showed my dad to top gun maverick the first time and he loved it. Anyway, I do remember watching this top gun maverick 6 months ago when, it came out on memorial day weekend and I enjoyed the sequel more than the first movie.

Not a fan of the first one but this one, absolutely! Loved how the story ended (by means I hope they dont ruin it by making a third one) unless of course it follows the younger group i.e. Goose, Hangman, etc.

Honestly I loved this movie more than the first one! Excellent story, drama, suspense and of course thrilling action. All around a great action movie. I went to the theater twice and purchased the movie as well. Just an awesome awesome movie.
