The lifting handle is in wro g angle. Can't adjust it, I.possible to trim grass. Useless.

Unreliable. Hard to use
Bought this about a year ago and I have fought this thing every time I’ve used it. The cartridge refills are tough to line up and are incredibly frustrating to use. The tool itself gets jammed often. The tool itself is made for short people. The tool is overpriced and in my opinion not even close to worth it. I’m sorry I ever purchased it. Threw it in the trash today, rather than giving it away or selling it.

Stay Away from This One
As so many have already said, the trimmer head is absolute junk. The so-called "AUTO-FEED" simply does not work. Even with a new factory-wound spool, the thing runs for about 30 seconds before the line breaks and is sucked back into the head. You don't need this kind of aggravation.

Toro 51480A String Trimmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a replacement for a prior model that performed very well for many years. This newer model never worked correctly-the line wouldn't advance or it would immediately break off inside the housing. I finally decided to throw it in the trash and fine another brand.

Easy to use even for senior citizen woman
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this string trimmer so I could continue to keep my yard looking neat. As a woman in her 70s, I wanted a tool that wouldn't be too heavy or too difficult to manage. This trimmer is easy to use, pretty easy to replace the string, and not too heavy. I have used it multiple times now to trim weeds and edge the lawn. I try to keep active and this TORO 60V trimmer makes that possible... and my son is happy because he doesn't have to come over as often to trim any more. Great product at a very good price!

60 volt 16" grass trimmer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The holes on the black plastic shroud were to small and had to be drilled out to get the screws through and aligned to the metal mlounting bracket. However, it works well, the battery will last an hour with heavy use.

Great Value!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been renting a gas edger once a year but had been thinking about buying one and doing it more often. This year, the local rental company no longer offered them so I bought the Toro. With a little learning I was able to successfully edge my .63 acre corner lot. The 2.0 amp battery that was included was not quite big enough to do the whole lot without recharging once. However, the price was excellent including the battery and charger. The edger had enough power to cut through the overgrown lawn in one pass.

A great tool for trimming my yard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this today. Assembled as instructed and fully charged the battery. I have been using a gas powered trimmer for many years. The electric trimmer not only makes the task of trimming much easier it also did a better job than the gas product. No mixing oil in gas hoping this time it will start and run as designed. Electric motors have always produced the power and rpm's required for such tools. The 60 volt battery has now made it possible to eliminate the cumbersome extension cord and get the task completed safely and expediently.

I chose this line trimmer because about thirty years ago a bought one similar to this one that was stolen. I didn't need one after my husband hired a landscaper. The landscaper said we needed a sprinkler timer so I bought a Toro timer. After twenty years the timer is going strong. I love products that outlast expectations!

Nope.
Trim line constantly gets bound up. I couldn't run it for more than 30 seconds without having to re-wind, unstick, unbind the line. I bought the ECHO universal Speed Feed trimmer head to replace it, and this model is one of the few that is not compatible. Don't bother, buy something else.

Surprised
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was truly surprised by the efficiency and effectiveness of this trimmer. I received it as a bonus after purchasing a zero turn, and honestly thought it would be fairly useless on my farm. But instead, I have now found myself reaching for it before my gas-powered trimmer. I now save the gas-powered trimmer for when it is charging or for bigger jobs, but again, I have been very pleasantly surprised by the power of this useful and handy tool.
