The Worx 20V Grass Trimmer/Edger is the easy-to-use, no fuss string trimmer that offers the ultimate in both convenience and functionality. It switches from a trimmer to an edger in just seconds, which saves you from buying a 2nd tool. It’s cordless, so you won’t get snagged on bushes and trees as you work around the yard. It’s cleaner and more cost-effective than gas-powered trimmers. Yet it provides more than enough power to give your lawn clean lines and straight edges. This tool comes with one 20V 1.5 Ah MaxLithium battery and a charger. That’s the very same battery that powers our chainsaws, even our lawnmowers.
A 10” cutting diameter is wide enough to trim larger patches, but narrow enough to dart around garden edges and other landscaping features. The 10’ spool that comes in this kit is wound with 0.065” diameter DoubleHelix DNA Line2. That’s not your average trimmer string. This patented oval-shaped design is aerodynamically engineered to reduce drag and slice through grass, and it features a tensile strength of over 100 lbs., so it resists snapping.

Let's start with the good part - it is super easy to start. I let it charge (5 full hours!) to have it work for almost 20 min before it was randomly turning off. I assumed the battery died, so I put it on the charger. It flashed red - which means the battery is too hot. It is currently 75 degrees outside. Guessing it won't work at all when true summer temps start.

I know it sounds crazy to say I love my weed eater but I do! This has made my yard work so much easier. In the past I have used those gas weed eaters that are so heavy! By the time you get done you have no strength to do anything else! A girlfriend of mine told me about the Works battery powered weed eater. So I bought one! Game changer! I love my Works weed eater! I’ll never be without 1 or 2 of these back savers! Do your self a favor ladies & get yourself one. You won’t regret it!

It is lite weight, easy to use, string last a long time, no gas smell, easy to switch angle of trimmer, edges better than a metal blade, compact, get for small or large jobs, batteries last long time, easy to clean, string is easy to change and automatic advancing, and is easy to adjust for tall or short people. I have only good things to say about your products.

I've used my Worx 20V cordless trimmer for the past 11 years and it has been flawless in performance. It is definitely punching above it's weight. If it ever wears out, I will replace it with another Worx.

I bought this item, with the two 20-v batteries and charger., due to the fact they guaranteed it for 3 years. Well, that was in 2016. I have a corner house, which is long, and had a camper to do. It is still working just fine! Love it! Ordered a leaf blower Aug 2023. Love it, also! Wow, works great, and I am an old woman.

Works has great products, I use the lawn products all the time. My only issue is the weed eater/trimmer string. You advertise string for life and when shipping the shining cost more than the product if I buy it at a local store that has works product. There is times where one spool only last for one event trim or maybe, one and a half trim. I would recommend, more than one pack be sent with each order. I trim and weed eat after each cut in the summer which is once per week. Again, I think all your lawn tools are great except this one feature.

It is a flaw and should be replaceable. I called the support line and they want to sell me a part that i don't need. I have four of your tools and have been mostly happy with them. This is a problem and you should replace it free of charge since i did not do anything to cause this problem. Not happy about this and i will tell my friends and family about you not standing behind your products. If you want to make this right and send me the part free of charge please let me know and i will recommend the product..

I am 5 foot in my 70's and have a property that is mostly hills and this is what I use; because too steep for a lawn mower. The trimmer is light weight and adjust for my height, the wheels and the handle adjustment is great on the hillside.
