There are no windows, no plastic observation panels—just solid wood that does the job season after season. The medium super box is sized for honey storage that is lighter to lift when full, making it a practical choice for beekeepers who manage multiple hives or prefer to harvest honey without straining.The box arrives unassembled, with pre-cut dovetail joints and pre-drilled holes. A hammer and a little wood glue are all you need to put it together, and the dovetails lock tight without staples or screws. Because the wood is left unfinished, you control what goes on the hive. Many beekeepers choose to coat the exterior with beeswax or linseed oil for added weather protection, while leaving the interior bare for the bees to coat with propolis.
