Not worth it even on sale. First day in England i went to find a hardware store to buy a US to UK converter because putting this into the outlet snapped the slide mechanism and the plug flip out mechanism for the other EU outlet types.

It does not work in the UK. All the outlets I encountered on my trip needed three plugs, but this adapter only has two. You cannot use an outlet in the UK without the grounding plug, which is what is missing from this adapter.
