Didn't realize it's convertible
Mine were incredibly sharp. I was going to give this four stars because of the lack of a spring, but I just realized you’re supposed to twist the metal piece in the center to enable the spring function, which I actually prefer than other cuticle nipples because this makes it more versatile / compact and thus easier to travel with.

These cuticle nippers are dull. I expected them to be uncomfortable but since they are trash and I need to literally pull (basically rip) my cuticle for these to work I'll complain about how uncomfortable they are as well, especially since they are very hard to squeeze. I've bought better ones for cheaper at TJ Maxx.

Trash!! I bought these in the past and they were great, so when I lost my old set, I bought these again. Wish I had read the reviews. Quality has gone so shockingly downhill. These are basically unusable. The joint is rough and sticky, the blades are dull and pull instead of cutting, and the points are round.
