Not what I expected
This was made from the recycled material. I applaud the effort but not soft compared to the other beanies offered. Also this was a larger hat compared to the lambswool or merino hats. Fit is not so good.

Great stocking stuffer gift
No more socks or trinkets to stuff in the kids' stockings. They are both older now and like to join their parents for the occasional hike, dog walk, etc. so a hat like this is a perfect gift. Comfortable and warm for the first bits of a Jersey winter.

Great hat and long lasting
Super comfy and nice looking imo. I have a hard time finding hats for my rather large head, the large size fits perfectly. I bought five of these over the years and they give many years of daily service. Really a great product. Steve

I have a big head and this hat does not quite fully cover my ears but that is more of a me problem. Hat is comfortable and warm.

Color disappointing compared with the website picture
I used to own one of these that was a nice green color but was destroyed in a washer recently. When I saw the email advertising the new Ragg beanies I ordered the oregano immediately since the website picture looked like my old one. Alas it's much more of a brown vs a green color which I don't like nearly as well.

Excellent Ragg Wool beanie
Just purchased a new RW beanie. It is very comfortable, and it is nice having the option of the XL size. Very warm. Love the new hat.

N.E. Solid Ragg Wool Beanie
The N.E. Solid Ragg Wool Beanie deserves 5 stars for quality, however, all factors considered, I only gave it 1 star. My reason for the 1 star rating is that a beanie is supposed to fit snuggly to the contour of one's head. The N.E. Ragg Wool Beanie is so large that it just droops over my eyes and flops around. I mean, I can tilt my head down and it falls off! For about a week, I tried to give it away to a friend, any friend, but no one's head was found to be big enough to fit it. Perhaps if my friends, male or female, were giants or at least had the head size of an NFL football player who weights 270 and stands at 6'-5" then beanie would've found a new owner. Sadly, no one in my circle fits such a description or the beanie as a result. Consequently, I was forced to generate a return tag and ship it back to Turtle Fur for a refund.
