A: Yes. I am allergic to dust mites among other things (take two allergy meds daily, have monthly allergy injections) and have been using these allerease pillow protectors for decades. I become congested when sleeping on pillows at other people's houses but not at home.

A: I was pleasantly surprised, but it doesn't make any noise. It's soft and you barely notice it's there. I have a more expensive one from a different brand and I have to say I like this one better. In fact I'm ordering more for all my pillows.

Q: Does this ultimate cotton pillow protector shrink in length or width? My queen pillow is too long for standard size and think the king would work if it shrinks lengthwise.

Very noisy to sleep on. Kinda stiff. I like that it’s cotton, but it’s definitely not something I can use on my pillow. Fine for guests (sorry LOL) or sham pillows. I also like the little hood that covers the zipper when it’s closed all the way. That’s a nice, quality touch!

This protector is not 100% cotton as described in the details. It's actually 100% polyester! Scratchy and noisy. I checked and rechecked to make sure I hadn't read it wrong. Totally not as expected.

I washed them and they seemed fine but then a few days later they started to smell so I washed them again and they still smelled. I use scent boosters and everything. The smell I can best describe it as that corn chip BO. Obviously not a good thing to put your head on and smell all night.
