A: Hello Rose. The selected rug is Beige. However the Burgundy option is actually a Burgundy. Also differences in computer monitors can cause rug colors to vary slightly and it is possible the colors may seem lighter or darker in images online or in person. A: Hello Alicat. This rug is made in Turkey. All machine made rugs (made with polypropylene) will usually have some degree of smell, which is simply an off-gassing caused by the polypropylene pile - this material is extracted from propylene gas. Most rugs have no scent. If there is an odor, it will subside naturally in an open ventilated area. In cases of a strong smell, we advise to leave it outdoors on a sunny day which will allow for the odors to maximize aeration to neutralize. For heavier cases, adding baking soda while outdoors will be helpful to expedite this process. Like all polypropylene rugs, it will have some VOC emission but we have optimized the process to minimize the volume of VOCs emitted.

Great Quality and Looks Even Better in Person!

Beautiful but hard to get the wrinkles out.
Very nice. Had a slightly smaller one in my dining room, but this time ordered the largest size. It came folded up, so it had a lot of wrinkles. Rolled it up for a day and that helped quite a bit. Doesn't seem quite as consistent with the colors that my older one did. But perhaps it'll get better with a little time.

While the pictures make the rug appear to have a subtle striped pattern, it looks solid turquoise in person. The material also is not very comfortable under foot, it feels cheap and plasticky.

Soft and plain pattern Darker brown than picture
As described: plain, nicely plied brownish-beige rug. Perfect for a subdued look under furniture. Soft on the feet and had no wrinkles when unrolled. We wanted a plain rug and this hits the mark. It’s a little more chocolatey brown than pictured.

Disappointed
The color is not what I expected - it's kind of a burnt orange. I thought from the photo that it would be brighter orange, though also thought there was a chance it would be a little pinkish based on the color being called "salmon". It's definitely not salmon. Also it's just kind of thin and the threads are sparse - there are little white lines running through it. It just seems overall kind of low quality, which I should have expected based on the price but was still a little surprised. I think it could be a good utility rug for a kids' or pets' play area.

Nice looking rug
At first I wanted to return rug cause size was too big, but I was able to cut it too fit the space I wanted and now I love it. I like the low profile look and even after cutting some of it there was no shedding. Rug makes the space look up-scale I would buy again.

Not such a great deal
I found it to be of poor quality. You can see through the nap. I have bought runners before and they have all been plush and great quality. Not so with this one. Very disappointed. But too much of a hassle to return.
