Dahlia was a different h than I’m used to with all defiance that sometimes got annoying. They both have some great scenes but that’s closer to the end and I found myself skimming a lot just to get to the story. I also don’t agree with how much Kane had to grovel when they both lied and omitted the truth with each other. I did enjoy the side characters: Loved how Preston continues to forget Dahlia’s name. “Seriously, how many D names will you say except for my actual one?” Jude and his crazy to Violet’s innocence has me very intrigued! I’m hoping to like their book more, especially if she’s a virgin. AND who is this Julian Callahan, that we first glimpse in KTV. I mean, he’s got Preston terrified to defy him and overall gives Adrian Volkov vibes.. a wife he seems to hide, Annalise??

The cover and the sprayed edges were beautiful. Loved it and the little art tucked inside. The price is so reasonable and affordable. This is my very first Target edition book and I’m very happy with it. I’ll be definitely looking forward to seeing more TE with my favorite books from now onwards.
