Victrola WSQK Record Player

Same issue that other users are having. Only 1 speaker works, I exchanged once and then I came to reviews and figured it was a manufacturer problem. Really sad :/

Like most people stated. Only one speaker works. The other is broke. So sad because the look is cool but terrible that every single one made has the same issue and this cost 162$ after taxes.

The signal to the speakers isn't very good; only one works. They have intermittent connections. I loved the Stranger Things speaker, but I've already returned two, and neither of them works.And I'll have to return it again.🫠

READ THE REVIEWS! I had to buy four of these…FOUR….before I got one where both left and right speaker outputs worked. All the others, sound would only come out of one speaker. I tried all the configurations: swapping cables, speakers, etc. it is the output board that is faulty on these. Since I bought 4 and returned 3 nonworking ones, that means there is a 75% chance the one you buy will be broken as well. This is outrageous. I kept the single working one because my daughter is a big Stranger Things fan and this is a starter turntable for her…but the BARE MINIMUM for a cheap turntable is that sound comes out of it. Victrola should be ashamed for manufacturing something so shoddy, and Netflix should be ashamed to put their name on it.

I would love to give it 5*, because of it being a collector item- but sadly as others have noted it has one speaker that DOESN’T work. At all.

Only one of the speakers work, it appears the left outlet doesn’t connect or is broken. I would pass on this if you need a recording player.

as everyone else has mentioned, had to buy 2 and BOTH had a problem with the left speaker. just save yourself and don’t get this, i thought i’d give it a shot thinking it was just a fluke with other peoples units but they basically all have an issue with the left output jack just not working.

Stranger Things fan, vinyl record enthusiast - yes, I have a bunch of records I was excited to use this record player with. The packaging was efficient and the product itself isn't heavy and looks cool. But for this specific product though I would have to give 3 stars only. The record player I received had issues with the port/source. One side was not working at all. I would exchange the speaker and only the left side would work, so I was essentially listening to only one speaker. I sent a video to the company and they were very quick and good to respond, which gives this review an extra star. They were kind enough to exchange the product for a new one and it came really quick too! I was so excited that finally, I can play my records with it again. But then just a day ago it started acting up again, the same right speaker side started acting up and not playing again. My son found a solution, as seen on the video: just barely connect both of the wires into the port, don't connect all the way in. Then both speakers would work. Check my video attached on how to fix it. It's working fixed as such, and Victrola is a good company for sure, so I'm continuing to use it and would still support the company for future purchases.

Setting it up was a breeze, and it’s just the right size to fit on my small table. The dust cover protects the turntable and record, and it has three speed options so you can listen to your records at the perfect pace. It also has headphone and RSV outputs, and Bluetooth connectivity is a nice touch. The sound quality is crisp and vibrant, making it a great addition to any collection. I will recommend it!

This item has a manufactured defect of the left aux output. tried switching the cables around just for fun but no sound was produced. This is a reocurring issue that others have experienced even with replacement players. Many online have reported this same issue with product. Stranger Things fans beware you will be purchasing for collector item and not functionality.

One of the speakers doesn’t work. Really disappointing. I returned the first record player I bought due to this problem. The second one has the exact same problem. Could be such a cool collectible and I’d love to own it, but if you’re spending this much money on a product it should work and not be defective.

Love how this looks but that's about the end of it. Not worth the price. I bought initially because it was retro and I love Stranger Things. One of two speakers work. Was replaced with new one. Same issue. Used once when I set it up and the both speakers worked. I went back a week or so later to listen to my record and only one of the speakers worked. No one has touched it plus it should not be that easily to break . $150 down the drain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Victrola Stranger Things WSQK Record Player was super simple to set up straight out of the box. My teen son was able to set it up in under ten minutes, only glancing at the instructions to see if there was a specific port for each wire. This record player is very compact, the records that he has stick out from the sides, so it’s easy to knock the record if you’re doing something near the player. The ports for the speaker wires are on the front and look a little messy, we would have preferred them to be hidden on the back so it’s not so obvious. Apart from that, we love the look of this record player and are impressed with the sound quality. The volume is easy to slide up and down. My son has been able to Bluetooth his music to the record player so he can play other music through the speakers. One feature he really likes is that at the end of the record, it stops and switches itself off. His main complaint is the messy wires to the speakers. Apart from that he really likes it and is now looking to buy more records! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Stranger Things-inspired design is a total vibe. The sound quality is through the roof, and it comes with a 3-speed turntable, built-in speakers, and a VinylStream Bluetooth option. I’m all about quality music time, and this has definitely taken my vinyl obsession to the next level.

The White and Red Cables for the speakers have issues connecting, could be from the port on the unit or the wires are just crap. Other then that when I got the wires in the right spot the sound was great in Bluetooth mode, vinyl mode needed some modifications to play the records without skipping aka I needed to add a little weight to the needle.
