I had really high hopes for these shoes but the price only reflects that they're leather. Everything else looks so messy. It looks like the stain was put on after construction and it's inconsistent (spotty and streaky, not in the endearing way most leather is). The front of the rubber sole came scuffed on both sides, and they came with wear on the inner ankle. The top band of the boot is very tight/narrow. Also, I'm a solid 120lbs, 5'6" generally an XS/S in most clothes: none of my weight is carried in my calves but these boots pinch arund the muscle when zipped in way that is constricting and uncomfortable. I would not recommend these to anyone with an average or higher bmi. I don't know if I should even attempt stretching them, or return them.
