Not even remotely thermal or warm!

If you are thinking of buying this to stay warm, it may actually do the opposite. This was the biggest waste of $20. Absolutely useless.

I disliked that they are 1) very thin and not warm as described and 2) HUMUNGOUS. They fit loose! The XL is like a XXL

Shear and no panty lines! Great for pants year round.

These work well for riding on a motorcycle in the fall and winter. I love how soft the inside feels, and they wear good.

I purchased this base layer to wear to a lights display at a local botanical gardens. I was toasty warm using this under some wool dress pants in 30o F temperatures, and I don’t do cold well !

Warm Essentials leggings are not thermal. It's like wearing summer leggings in the winter.

They kept me very warm.

These stained everything else around me within hours. My shirt, my furniture, even my socks!! Worse is that as I'm slowly but steadily turning orange I didn't think it was these 'black pants. I was so confused I couldn't sleep lol.

They are cozy but ran a bit big for me so I did return them.

Love the fit and silky smooth finish. But they’re not thermal/“waffle” and the fabric smells horrible. Almost like insecticide but it’s the material. Must return.

They are form fitting without being snug. They keep me warm with no added bulk.

love these, not too heavy or too light and they don't stretch out like many others. They are also highwasted and don't fold over so they are super comfortable. I bought two pair at first, added two more and am thinking of adding more now so I never run out!

These leggings are thin and lightweight. They add a layer of lightweight warmth. The fabric is silky and sleek, so clothes glide on over them. They are not the warmest Cuddl Duds- if you need something warmer, you should check out the Cuddl Duds Fleece. These are thin, so they definitely should not be worn alone. They are designed to wear underneath regular clothes. Perfect for when you need a little extra warmth.

Other reviews I read shows that most people don't understand how thermals work. used to be you had to pile on layers to keep warm. Then came "thermal" under layers. They had "pockets" woven into the fabric. these pockets trap air that your body heat has warmed. Same concept as the old style "wet suit" did with water. Today, we have light weight polyester fabric that is really good at holding heat. When you later up with polyester, or any other fabric, it neither needs to have pockets OR thickness. You want a somewhat loose fit in your under layer as well as your outer so that there is room within your clothing layers for air to flow. A pocket. I Love this under layer BECAUSE it is so lightweight, also because being polyester, the fabric is slick so that loose layer under my leggings doesn't bind or crease, it moves with me without bunching. The "perfect" under layer for warmth. BTW, true to size but I have my size and larger for depending on what I'm wearing over them.

I love the new design with a wider waistband similar to athletic pants. The last pair I purchased about 20 years ago had a very small waistband like panties.
