A: I suggest the text "Interior Dimensions: 28.42 Inches (H) x 34.22 Inches (W) x 13.12 Inches (D)" refers to one of the storage units these bins fit into. I suspect it is left over/poorly edited copy.

Q: Can the baskets be easily stacked one on top of the other?
A: No, they can't be stacked on top of each other. They are designed to fit into each other when empty so if you put one on top of the other the stuff in the bottom one would get smushed.
