Wearable Butterfly Wings Craft Kit- Mondo Llama™

Ordered this kit for my niece who loves to dress up and do crafts. It was an easy enough craft that didn’t make too much of a mess.

These are such a cute idea, and for a great price, but they are honestly a nightmare to put together. Everything sticks to the sticky back of the wings and then the sticky part ripped off when trying to remove it. I would still buy it again though because it was so cute and my daughter loved designing it.

My 5 year old and I enjoyed this project. We did take some breaks as it was a little tedious for my 5 year old (decent amount of prep before you can put it together, like popping out the colored pieces and figuring out layout, etc.) BUT once they are done, the wings are amazing! We enjoyed doing this together and my daughter loves to wear them and see the sunlight come through the wings. AWESOME product, Target!

Putting them together was tedious. Littles will need an adults help but my daughter enjoyed picking the colors and running around the backyard while wearing the wings.

This is an adorable craft however my 3 year old had difficult doing it herself. Still though, she loved the end product!

These are not a quick project, but they're absolutely beautiful when finished. If you're a perfectionist you won't like how hard it is to line up the top side, and adding the double sidded tape took FOREVER, but my girls love them! Would make a great costume, but we use them just for dress up fun!

The age group intended is not the age group doing the work. You can’t make mistakes putting it together because peeling it off tears the outline. Then you have to cut and peel SO MANY double sided tape strips to adhere the other side. It took an hour to do the tape alone. My toddler loved it afterward but she didn’t get to do anything other than pick the colors as it requires a lot of fine motor skills. I would prefer to just buy one already put together at that point. For the price, it’s ok, but anything more than five bucks and it’s not worth it.

Cute idea - DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF! Fell for a cute little Instagram video of someone’s child running around playing in the wings… had to do most of it for my 5yr old. so sticky. So many white little sticky strips you have to cover the whole thing with and then you have to peel off the backs. Then you have to line up the other side of the wings to the other said…but wait you can’t readjust it because it sticks together immediately…again I’m warning you. DON’T DO IT!! Your blood pressure will thank you.

The butterfly wings are adorable and a great price! Highly recommend!

Such a hit for my four year olds birthday party. All the kids enjoyed making them however they were a bit difficult for the younger kids. Definitely required parents help but turned out awesome!

Incredibly impressed with the size of these! For only $5, my kiddos get “real” life sized butterfly wings? SOLD! This would be perfect for birthday parties too!

My daughter is 3 she is into caterpillars & butterflies she was very happy to wear the butterfly wings made by her mommy! Definitely is time consuming took me close to 2 hours but worth every smile!

Such a wonderful craft for the price! My granddaughter had so much fun putting it together and decorating it with the different colors. I’d definitely purchase this again.

Items were not complete and they were never reshipped because they were out of stock even if it shows the store has 15 available. Not buying from this company ever again.

The sticky wing is very sticky and they accidentally ripped it a few times when the plastic pieces stuck to the wrong parts.

Fun activity for my 7 year old daughter and friends. They loved making it and then playing outside. Highly recommend

I loved how you can make it very easily. But the sticky tape takes very long time to cover all the nooks and crannies. The colors are very pretty and you can probably use them for other crafts.
