BumpStep is a trailer hitch-mounted bumper protector available in a 12" width, that defends your truck or SUV against rear end accidents, dents and scratches. BumpStep is molded from two proprietary resins for added strength and impact resistance.
The base is molded from a sturdy material that resists flexing, while the second layer is a softer, impact absorbing material, lessening the blow caused by minor accidents. You will be happy to have it when that stray grocery cart or hard-to-see fire hydrant shows up!
As a secondary benefit, and as the name implies, BumpStep doubles as a step, helping you reach your vehicle’s roof. BumpStep can support up to 300 lbs., providing you access to a roof rack, bike or kayak, or to wash the roof of your vehicle and brush off snow.
