Upgrading from 5 year old ACs to the Windmil WhisperTech made a massive differnece in our home. We needed the silence for my partner's home office where he's on video calls all day and couldn't believe how well it worked. We ordered 2 more for other rooms. The change in volume is remarkable, the ability to control them from an app makes keeping the pets comfortable without breaking the bank much easier when we're out, and I LOVE that they dont blow directly forward, but up and around instead. So much easier to sleep without getting congested when an AC is not blowing toward your face. We did have a small issue with one of them, and they promptly replaced it when I sent a video of the issue. Love this product and company.

This is a replacement model for a unit just barely out of warranty that, for some mysterious reason, started icing up. I contacted customer service who helped me troubleshoot it and it was deemed defective. They asked appropriate questions, like the size of the room, and then sent a new one. I can tell there have been some improvements, and it works great!

I had a windmill ac for over a year and it was awesome. I bought one this summer and had issues with the wifi in the unit. After some back and forth Windmill sent us a replacement unit. It was nice to see them stand by their product. Highly recommend Windmill for performance and now customer service.

The customer service of this company is amazing. Sometimes. You take chances with smaller companies. And I’m so glad I took the chance with them. My room is ice cold and it’s amazingly quiet. I have the whispertech and it makes its promise. Any questions you have. They get back to you right away. Like. Right away. Maybe an hour response time. I love the product. I love the service. I've been telling everyone how happy I am with my Windmill AC. It is such a thoughtfully-designed product: energy efficient, whisper-quiet operation, visually appealing. I also love the fact that the cold air blows up at a 45-degree angle and can't believe every air conditioner doesn't offer this feature. It was worth every penny. The company's customer service is also terrific.

As luck would have it, I received a defective AC the first time around. Product support got on it right away, with numerous communications. Today I received a full replacement (actually upgraded from 8.000 to 10,000 BTU's). It works like a charm and cools things off incredibly fast and efficiently! This is our first AC (hard to believe, as we are in our 70's and somehow got by with fans). We are total converts! Anyway, our whole experience with Windmill and the staff has been perfect. Just installed my 5th Windmill AC. The process is a snap and I love the wifi option too. When I experienced shipping damage from a 3rd party vendor, the customer service at Windmill was superb! A replacement AC was sent in a few days. Try Windmill and I promise you won't be disappointed!

When I first turned it on, I wasn't even sure it was on! The compressor makes a tiny bit of noise when it first comes on for 4-5 seconds, and then after that I can barely hear it. It cools the room much more quickly than my old unit. After that, I can use the Eco mode to maintain the temperature. I was able to install the app with no issues.

We had originally ordered two Windmill 8,000 BTU units and one was great but the other rattled and was quite noisy. We were disappointed since one of the selling points of Windmill is that they are quieter than most. Customer service worked with us to trouble shoot but nothing helped. They then sent us a second unit in a very timely manner, and with no hassle. I would recommend this product and company to anyone without reservation!!

I HATE window unit ACs. Like, with a passion, hate them. They are always dirty, dusty, smelly, loud and fall into the necessary evil category. I did not want to take a chance on this Windmill unit, but I did, begrudgingly. Well, I have been so happy to be proven wrong: this Windmill AC is WAY better than any window AC I have ever seen... I have seen many! It’s great for my office and no one can even tell it’s on during calls (& I sit right next to it). So pleased!
