This is a perfect sturdy, yet beautiful pencil cup! It has structure but the tapered shape has some grace when I want to put a ton of pens or pencils in the cup, and the velvet bottom and rounded base keeps the cup from scratching up surfaces. I've been updating my workspace in my house after the pandemic hit (haven't we all?) and I paired this some of the other gold-accented office supplies from target (like the cutie hedgehog tape dispenser) and it's perfect. As a teacher, I have SO MANY pens and pencils, I bought a second cup soon after.
